Metamorphosis

This series of five illustrations explores concepts including transformation, perception, and interconnectedness, inspired by Daoist and Buddhist philosophies. Beginning from Eclosion, cocoons and emerging wings suggest cycles of rebirth. Pure Land depicts the rebirth of a pure spirit through a lotus bud according to Buddhist karma. Symbiosis connects the human body with plant structures for we live in a shared, flowing ecosystem. Stardust is where this connection culminates at a cosmic scale, reflecting our shared origin with the universe and all of its galaxies. Through dreamlike colors and fluid compositions, the series invites viewers into a calm, meditative state, where boundaries between dream and reality dissolve.
